What Is KingCamp?
KingCamp has made outdoor gear since 2002. The brand sells tents, sleeping bags, camping furniture, and hiking equipment. Its products are aimed at campers who want gear that is both functional and comfortable, from weekend trips to longer outdoor stays.
KingCamp Khan C 400 Specs & Features
The Khan C 400 is part of KingCamp’s canvas glamping bell tent line. A bell tent is a round tent shape, often used for glamping because it gives more headroom and floor space than a standard triangle tent. Canvas material is a heavy, woven fabric known for being sturdy and better at blocking weather than thinner tent fabrics.
| Feature | What It Means for You |
|---|---|
| Bell tent shape | Round design with more usable floor space and headroom |
| Canvas material | A heavier, durable fabric style often chosen for glamping |
| Part of the Khan series | KingCamp also sells a Khan 400 and Khan 500 canvas bell tent |
| Built for glamping | Designed with comfort in mind, not just basic shelter |
Because exact pole counts, floor dimensions, and weight are not listed in our source information, we recommend confirming these details on the official product page before you buy. This is especially important for a tent, since fit and setup depend on precise measurements.

KingCamp vs Coleman: Quick Comparison
Coleman is one of the most recognized names in camping gear, known for a wide range of tents at many price points. KingCamp has built its reputation since 2002 around outdoor gear including tents, sleeping bags, and camping furniture. Coleman tends to offer more traditional dome and cabin tent styles, while KingCamp’s Khan series leans into the canvas bell tent style favored in glamping. If you specifically want the glamping look and feel, the Khan C 400 fits that niche well. If you want a more standard camping tent, Coleman’s broader lineup may have more traditional options.
Price comparisons between the two brands will depend heavily on the exact tent size and style, so treat any online comparison chart with caution. The safest approach is to compare a specific Coleman canvas or bell-style tent, if one exists in their current lineup, directly against the Khan C 400 after applying the $200 off discount.
Who Should Buy the KingCamp Khan C 400?
This tent is a good match for families or groups who camp together often and want more room to stand, dress, and move around inside compared to a small backpacking tent. It also suits anyone drawn to the glamping trend who wants a sturdier, more comfortable setup than a basic dome tent. If you camp solo and prioritize light weight over space, a smaller nylon tent may serve you better than a large canvas bell tent.

Just be sure to check the exact size and setup details on the product page so it matches your camping group and site.
FAQs
What makes a bell tent different from a regular tent?
A bell tent has a round shape with a center pole, which usually gives more headroom and open floor space compared to a standard A-frame or dome tent.
Is canvas better than nylon for camping tents?
Canvas is generally heavier and more durable, which is why it’s popular for glamping. Nylon tents are usually lighter and easier to carry for backpacking trips.
